Session Description:

Committed to scholarly, reflective teaching? Interested in not only conducting a SoTL research project but also representing Yorkville and TFS as an exemplary SoTL scholar? Following our launch of the program last year and inaugurating our first-ever cohort of SoTL Scholars, we are thrilled to have issued a call for our second cohort for the 2026-2028 cycle! And this information is your chance to learn more and get all your questions answered as you draft and polish your application materials to submit!

SoTL Scholars is a 2-year fellowship program that provides funding of up to $20,000 CAD and ongoing consultative support to participants to complete a SoTL research project from start to finish. SoTL scholars also participate in monthly community of practice meetings, as well as co-design and deliver workshops on teaching and learning. Full- and part-time faculty members and instructors in all programs offered by Yorkville + TFS are eligible to apply.
