Workshop Description:
In this session, we will give a brief introduction to teaching philosophies – the unique and personal statements that articulate your beliefs and values in teaching and learning.
This introduction is paired with activities to help you explore your beliefs and values so that you can identify what you may wish to include in your own teaching philosophy statement.
This is a timely opportunity to reflect in anticipation of the 2026 Yorkville University President’s Awards for Teaching Excellence or the 2026 Toronto Film School President’s Awards for Teaching Excellence early next year.
