ISW Registration Now Open for May 2026 at Yorkville Vancouver Campus!

Following the energy and excitement of our 2026 inaugural pilot year of the Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW), which saw 26 Yorkville and Toronto Film School instructors receive their internationally-recognized Certificates, we at the Centre are so excited that the ISW is coming back for 2026 – with its first stop at our New Westminster Campus in May!

Please use this form to register your interest for the Monday, May 4th, Tuesday, May 5th, and Wednesday, May 6th, 2026 Instructional Skills Workshop being held on-site at the Yorkville University BC Campus (88 6th Street, New Westminster, BC, V3L 5B3).

The ISW is for new and/or experienced instructors, as well as anyone with instructional capacities in their roles who are not also serving in a Chair-, Director-, and/or Assistant Dean-level, or more senior, role. (If you are serving in one of these faculty leadership roles and are interested in participating in the ISW, please reach out to The Centre directly at [email protected]

Registration of Interest Form: 2026 ISW at New West Campus – May 4th, 5th, & 6th

Important note #1: As spots are limited in this program, filling out the form does not guarantee a spot in the workshop. A facilitator will be in contact to confirm spots at least three weeks before the workshop begins. Unless you hear from a facilitator who confirms your spot, please do not show on May 4th expecting to be able to participate.

Important note #2: While this first ISW offering of 2026 is being held on-site at our New Westminster campus in BC, it is open to all faculty and instructional staff across Yorkville and TFS! If you are/can be in the New West/Vancouver area and are interested, please register your interest. Same procedures as above apply.

Thank you all so much, and stay tuned for more ISW offerings and opportunities at Yorkville University and Toronto Film School this year!
