Following the energy and excitement of our inaugural pilot at our Steeles Campus in March 2025, the Centre for Teaching Excellence and Innovation (CTEI, or “The Centre”) at Yorkville University and Toronto Film School is thrilled to announce that the Instructional Skills Workshop (ISW) is coming next to our New Westminster Campus – this September 2025! – and that registration for the September 2025 offering is now live and open!
Please use this form to register your interest for the Monday, September 15th, Wednesday, September 17th, and Thursday, September 18th Instructional Skills Workshop being held on-site at the Yorkville University British Columbia Campus (88 6th Street. New Westminster, BC, V3L 5B3).
The ISW is for new and/or experienced instructors as well as anyone with instructional capacities in their roles who are not also serving in a Chair-, Director-, and/or Assistant Dean-level, or more senior, role. Important note: As spots are limited in this program, filling out the form does not guarantee a spot in the workshop. A facilitator will be in contact to confirm spots at least three weeks before the workshop begins. Unless you hear from a facilitator who confirms your spot, please do not show on September 15th expecting to be able to participate.
