Our very own Dr. Louise Olivier (Faculty, Liberal Arts, Yorkville U BC) has had her tiny teaching tale “It’s ‘bleh’ today” published in Bedford Bits: Tiny Teaching Stories edited by Dr. Nancy Sommers (Harvard Graduate School of Education).

This tiny teaching tale of Louise’s is one that she first drafted, crafted, and shared with Yorkville U + TFS colleagues in our CTEI Workshop “Tiny Teaching Tales” – an interactive workshop we offer that is inspired by Sommers’ work with “Writing and Sharing Tiny Teaching Stories” that, in the vein of the NY Times’ “tiny love stories” series, shifts the lens of love to that of teaching to see what happens when we capture something interesting or memorable about our teaching experiences in no more than 100 words.

Sharing with the world now beyond our CTEI Workshop and Yorkville U + TFS community, please spend a moment – literally a moment: Louise’s story is exactly 100 words! – with Louise and “It’s ‘bleh’ today”:
