To support, celebrate, and close National AccessAbility Week (May 26-30th, 2025), as well as to inaugurate our newly-launched CTEI Guides section of our Resources page on the website, we at The Centre have published four resources centering access and accessibility in your teaching.
These are:
- 10 Steps for Creating Alt Text – a quick resource for creating meaningful and accessible alt text for images
- Describing People for Alt Text – a quick resource for describing people in the alt text for images
- Class Progress for Accommodations and Accessibility – a short video about reading Class Progress in Brightspace with an accessibility lens
- Making Text Communication Accessible in Brightspace – an infographic as well as its supporting text document on text editing in Brightspace
The Centre is continuing this important work, and more collaborative resources will be coming out soon – stay tuned!
